Justice is not what it used to be!
Under Magna Carta the law was much more in favour of the people rather than the state. We propose moving back to this excellent system.
Juries will have the responsibility to try the accused, but also the law under which they are to be prosecuted. If the law is found wanting, the conviction and the law are quashed pending appeal.
All citizens have the right to appeal the ruling of any court without financial or any other penalties.
Judges may advise but not direct the jury. The jury will decide what is admissible and decide upon the sentence.
All trials will be recorded and available to any of the participants.
